Concerns that have been circulating for years, around tightening supply, channel competition, and a maturing market, need to be dealt with and addressing these major and complex issues will take a commitment to work together, in open dialogue, with appropriate context, and in the right setting. That is what Symposium aims to accomplish and once again, we gathered the industry’s top leaders for a discussion about the most pressing issues. Covering the state and future of specialty coffee as well as topics such as the potentially game-changing advancements in the single-cup market, technical discoveries that will further support differentiation, and engaging coffee drinkers, we found one important point of clarity... specialty coffee continues, unapologetically, to push higher while deepening the commitment to its supply chain. It’s not easy, nor immediately solvable, but we have already witnessed tremendous progress by having the right people in the room. Thank you to the 350 leaders who joined us at Symposium to help ensure specialty coffee remains a vibrant community. We look forward to seeing you next year in Houston.
